Swift began to show an desire to work in the music industry at a young age. The trajectory of her career was rapid from children's play roles to her first public appearance in crowds of people. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of a Philadelphia 76ers game at age 11. She was already creating songs. After that, she took up guitar. Swift, who took her inspirations from Shania Twain's music as well as the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world in country music composed the original songs she wrote to express her experience with alienation. In the year 13 Swift's parents sold their farm in Pennsylvania and moved towards Hendersonville Tennessee so she could spend more time in courting the country music labels in nearby Nashville.
